"I can see her sometimes in the mirror and it's really stunning. Sometimes I'm grateful for it, but other time I also think, Well where am I at actually, and what part of this body is me anymore?"

Rachel Eliza Griffiths is a multi-media artist, poet, and writer. She is the author of five poetry collections, including Seeing the Body (W. W. Norton, 2020) and Mule & Pear (New Issues Poetry & Prose, 2011), which was selected for the 2012 Inaugural Poetry Award by the Black Caucus American Library Association.

Also a visual artist, Griffiths is the creator of Poets on Poetry (P.O.P), an intimate series of interviews, which gathers more than fifty contemporary poets together in conversation to discuss poetry in relation to individual human experience and culture.
